Giustina Mistrello Destro

President

Since May 2023, Giustina Mistrello Destro has served as President of the Advanced Biomedical Research Foundation (which manages VIMM). Appointed unanimously, she leads an organization of about 290 researchers, with the goal of promoting and enhancing excellence in research at both national and international level.

Stefano Bellon

Vice President

Since 2023, he has served as Vice President of the Advanced Biomedical Research Foundation (VIMM), contributing to the Institute’s strategic direction and fostering dialogue between research, medicine, and institutions.

Nicola Elvassore

Scientific Director

Since 2023, Nicola Elvassore has served as Scientific Director of VIMM, a role established to guide and coordinate the institute’s scientific activities and research strategies. He oversees a network of approximately 290 researchers and 12 Principal Investigators, ensuring coherence, shared objectives, and adequate resources.

Since May 2022, he has served as Scientific Advisor to VIMM, bringing his expertise in support of the Veneto Institute.
