Overview

At VIMM Bioimaging Facility, we provide a broad choice of microscopes for biomedical investigation. The broad array of stereomicroscopes, transmission and fluorescence microscopes, advanced confocal and 2-photon systems allows:

  • fixed, live imaging, in vivo microscopy;
  • cell and tissue, thin and thick slice sample imaging;
  • Fast brightfield and fluorescence imaging;
  • Multidimensional imaging and experiments (multicolor, z-stack, timelapse, spectral, etc);
  • Ratiometric indicator, FRET, FRAP, photo activation experiments;

We offer an experienced microscopy specialist that supports the researcher throughout the process of imaging, from selection and use of the recommended system, to the acquisition of the final image and result. In addition, we provide basic and advanced training of users on each system.
