Donne nella Scienza

February 11 is a day initiated by The United Nations in 2016 to celebrate Women and Girls in Science, as such VIMM and the University of Padua will take this opportunity to acknowledge the women of our scientific community.

Science and gender equality are both vital for the achievement of the internationally agreed development goals, including the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Over the past 15 years, the global community has made a lot of effort in inspiring and engaging women and girls in science.

On Monday February 11, 2019 at 5pm in the Aula Seminari at via Orus 2, Padua, a round table of lively discussion will take place focusing on science and medicine as career paths and the passion that drives the pursuit of scientific discovery. Special thanks to Fondazione Marisa Bellisario Veneto.
